Our Team
Takoda Crawford
Takoda is a Registered Kinesiologist with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiology. He attended Vancouver Island University’s Kinesiology program, where he graduated with distinction for his academic pursuits. With a passion for biomechanics, human physiology, and human performance, Takoda believes that everyone has the ability to live and perform in their daily lives, no matter their age.
Takoda has a wide range of experience from competing in top-level mountain biking competitions, strength and conditioning coaching for athletes in various sports disciplines, and working with individuals to rehabilitate injuries and joint replacements. Takoda believes that no matter what stage of life you are in, the key to living a full and joyful life is movement. Using evidence-based practices, he is committed to helping others live stronger and healthier lifestyles. Takoda works with private and semi-private clients, as well as ICBC clients, to provide well-rounded training programs to optimize strength, mobility, and cardiovascular fitness to get you feeling strong, moving well, and living confidently.
Kinesiologist
Mack Rutherford
Mack Rutherford graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Alberta. He has been a member of the British Columbia Association of Kinesiology (BCAK) for the past 4 years and has over 5 years of experience as an Exercise Physiologist with the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). Mack brings a wealth of knowledge and experience treating various client populations including Musculoskeletal injuries, work & sports-related injuries, chronic pain rehabilitation, concussion, brain injury & stroke rehabilitation to name a few.
Mack also has over 7 years of experience specializing in applied neurology, (Master Practitioner certificate). He will assess his client’s vision, vestibular and proprioception systems and design the appropriate exercise program to train, balance, and ultimately improve their nervous system as a whole. His training style has been shown to achieve effective outcomes for his clients who are rehabilitating from various types of neurological injuries. He is client-centred and always makes sure his clients are happy and up to the challenge of achieving their rehabilitation goals.
Mack moved to Vancouver Island 2 years ago and loves being outside in nature. In his free time, he will often hike, cycle, swim, trail run or play basketball with his friends.

Stephanie Grozell
Stephanie is a Registered Acupuncturist and Certified Pilates and Yoga Instructor. With over 12 years of experience teaching Pilates, Stephanie brings a calm, detail-oriented approach to movement that helps clients feel safe, strong, and connected to their bodies. Her teaching style emphasizes clear instruction and accessible cueing, making her classes approachable while still offering depth and challenge.
Stephanie is especially passionate about supporting women in midlife and beyond. She focuses on building strength, balance, and postural awareness, offering a supportive, informed approach that meets the changing needs of the body during this transition. Alongside movement, she shares practical resources and education to help women feel empowered, capable, and well-supported through midlife.
